Artbreak, Lulu, Delight:: Destiny

Hi everyone! This morning I stumbled upon Artbreak, and have been steadily adding to my portfolio. My primary focus will be different sizes than I currently have listed on Etsy. I should warn you to set aside some time when you're able to browse the site. I keep getting distracted by all of the wonderful paintings, drawings and of course, photography.

I've also begun adding smaller sized prints of a few favorites, and images that do not quite fit my other venues, on the DIY publishing venue Lulu. Lulu offers mats and frames, and ships directly to buyers, which is a nice convenience. Lulu also offer the option to make images available to buyers as downloads. What they do not offer is Kodak Endura professional paper, particularly the silk and metallic finishes that I am fond of. Still it seems like a promising venue to add to my growing bundle of shops.

Max is shrieking, the dog is whining and I'm writing this entry at warp-speed before my tea kettle joins the fray, so I'll close by asking you to go and say hello to the talented clothing designer Colorada, who was kind enough to feature my work on her blog Delight:: Destiny yesterday.

Mmmm! Brains....

This has absolutely nothing to do with photography, but since most of you following have an Etsy presence, I thought I would share a recent find. A couple of nights ago in the forums, another shop owner mentioned she had access to practically any coffee bean in the world. Curious, I clicked through and noticed that she roasts small batches by hand, and uses compostable packaging.

Now good coffee is readily available here in Somerville, but when I noticed that Brainscan offered $2.00 sample bags of beans , I decided to place an order. And I am so glad that I did. The cup of coffee I'm enjoying right now is exactly as described: fresh, smooth, light and flavorful.

I can see this becoming a regular indulgence.

This is a personal favorite of mine, and several of my clients. Kodak Endura Professional metallic paper enhances the bright colors present in Seasonal Affective Disorder. Available for purchase in print sizes ranging from 4x6 through 24x36, and also as a 5x7 greeting card, in my Etsy shop.

It is also a fitting compliment to a cold, grey January afternoon in New England, where I am working on several new designs for spring.
